Dr. Nonyelum Ebigbo MD
Dr. Ebigbo grew up in Nigeria and moved to California after medical school. She completed a pediatric residency at Richmond University Medical Center and is currently completing her pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She is interested in the interplay between the commensal microbiota and the immune system; and the modulation of gut microbiota populations as a therapeutic modality for gastrointestinal diseases in children. She joined the Koh lab as a fellow and her project focused on optimizing precision probiotics for graft vs host disease. She has a sweet tooth and loves to eat everything with avocados. In her spare time, she enjoys a good book, spending time with her husband and 2 kids, and tending to all her plants.
